Q . Does The surface get Hot and whats the difference between Induction and Infrared cookers
A. No Surface doesn’t get hot for induction cookers . Induction cook-tops generate a strong electrical field which interacts with the iron-content in the base of the pan. This results in heat being developed in the pan-base.
Infrared cook-tops use a powerful lamp in the infrared part of the light spectrum which is focussed onto the glass or ceramic surface of the cook-top. This heat is then transferred to the pan by conduction.
Q . Are Infrared Cookers or Induction Cookers better than Hot plates ?
A. Yes they Heat up much Faster than hot plates and hence will save you electricity as well since hot plates take a longer time to heat and are not suitable for cooking curry’s

Q . Are Induction Cookers or Infrared Cookers More Cost Effective than Using Gas
A. You only need about half the amount of kWh’s for induction or infrared to cook the same food than gas. However, gas is usually a third or a quarter of the price per kWh, so gas is nearly always cheaper. However with the shortage of gas it is necessary to have either an Induction cocker or an Infrared Cooker as a Backup option

I really like this hob, because It heats up pretty quick was able to fit Larger pans so you can also prepare a large pan with soup or stew Its clearly been designed with knowledge to make it safe and reliable. Timer can be set independently of temperature so that you can also have the timer on at a low temperature .

I’ve been cooking electric for years I started with hot plates and now moved to induction I love it I ordered another for my sister it is her first time electric cooking but she doesn’t want anything else any more she’s only had it 3 weeks and already used to it
its always Plug in and you’re done . the buttons are spread out and the timer is a god send

Wow, this is a really nice induction cooktop I had to get used to it anyway, because I have now switched from gas to induction. But with this hob you can master it in no time. You plug the induction plate into the socket and you can start immediately and since the surface doesn’t get hot like the infared cooker def the option for the young absentminded and clumsy lot lol

Since we may have to forego gas from time to time in the future, I thought induction cooking was a good solution. This cooker from Dinapala is far cheaper than the same cooker with the PHILIPS brand and is a great replacement for a gas appliance for me. The new cooking is fast, clean, safe and easy to operate.
Yes, it makes a slight noise when it is switched on, but this noise is nowhere near as loud as the extractor hood .
