A big improvement It’s a replacement for my 2014 MacPro. I use it for simple tasks - emails, letters, spreadsheets, You tube and video streaming. Not a gamer. Several standouts - speed, battery life, quick start, portability and much better sound.

bought this today and so far this laptop is great! It works well, its super fast with the new M1 chip and the computer doesn't heat up much despite having no fan. So far I have been able to play a shooting PVP game on this with no lag and it ran really smoothly and it didn't heat up much at all. The new M1 chip has made this laptop an unbelievable machine for how thin it is. Another MAJOR plus, the battery life is amazing! I have been on the laptop for about 2 hours and the battery has only gone down 7%. The build quality is also good and worth the money. I highly recommend this machine to anyone looking for a good computer that is thin but will also give you good power and great battery life.
